Last November, our beloved Eye-pod survived a 40 mile journey across the Twin Cities to a new home. Constructed last May at the University's Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, the little black box was picked up by crane, then trucked to the Science Museum of Minnesota in downtown
After a long, lonely winter and a little maintenance, the Eye-pod is now open in the museum's "backyard." Located between a prairie maze and a mini-golf course, the Eye-pod will play a new role as a teaching tool about light and optics.
