PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This multi-family supportive housing development, designed for large single-parent families, includes construction of thirteen new three and four bedroom townhomes in two buildings as well as a separate community building to house staff offices and resident activity spaces. The three buildings face a common landscaped courtyard, reinforcing a sense of community and safety. The courtyard includes picnic tables, benches, and play equipment as well as open lawn area, all within view of the residents' private patios so that parents can watch their children at play and visit with their neighbors. The use of rich color and entry porch details provide simple, but effective, means to introduce character to the buildings within a limited budget.
