Past work experience:
Prior to joining Cermak Rhoades, Matt accumulated experience in both urban and graphic design, working at the University of Minnesota's Design Center for American Urban Landscape and Jensen and Wilcoxon, a small Minneapolis graphic design firm. The University continues to keep Matt busy, where he teaches undergraduate drawing and design, and is a regular jury critic. After three and a half years Matt continues to appreciate both the integrity and comaraderie of the staff at Cermak Rhoades and the opportunity to work for clients committed to making affordable housing.

Interests:
Between vacations and work hours Matt has run 8 Twin Cities Marathons, 7 of those in under 3 hours. In the Spring of 2008 Matt travelled to Boston with his future wife to compete in the fabled Boston Marathon. Somehow he graced the front page of the Boston Globe even though he was edged out by Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong by 3 short minutes.
