PROJECT: Skyline Tower Addition

LOCATION
St. Paul, Minnesota

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project includes a new 3-story addition to an existing 24-story high rise building, as well as minor rehabilitation of the existing 504 dwelling units of multi-family affordable apartments. As a prominent feature at the front of the tower, the addition provides both a new identity and a new entrance to the high rise. The addition includes several much-needed support service spaces, including a computer lab, learning center, offices, meeting rooms, and a large community room with retractable stage. The form of the community room roof angles up and out toward the highway, making the room spacious, airy, and sunny for resident and neighboring community gatherings.
