Tim Cook
Designer

Past work experience:
Before returning to school to study architecture Tim developed a background in making, including the repair of brass and woodwind instruments, vintage motorcycle repair, architectural brass fabrication, and precision machining. Renovation work on a 1911 lake area cottage sparked an interest in the simple and direct vernacular architecture of summer homes and cabins. While interested in the preservation of historic buildings Tim is intrigued by how the interplay between older buildings and newer architecture can enrich the character neighborhoods.

Distinctions:
Master of Architecture - University of Minnesota
Bachelor of Science in Architecture - University of Minnesota
Bachelor of Art in Art History - University of Minnesota

Hometown:
White Bear Lake, MN

Interests:
When not tinkering with classic bicycles, and other odd, ancient, mechanical and musical artifacts Tim enjoys woodworking, working on old houses and traveling with his family.
