PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Warehouse #2 is located on the northeast corner of the “ Pillsbury A Mill” complex in Minneapolis. This four story warehouse building is on the National Register for Historic Structures so care has been taken to preserve as many of the historical features as possible while accommodating the new conversion into 30 condominiums.
The exterior masonry walls will be cleaned and left exposed and the original heavy timber structure will remain intact. The existing loading dock will provide balcony space for north facing units on the second floor while remaining units will have wall-supported metal balconies.
Covered parking will be located on the ground floor of the building with additional exterior parking provided on the south surface lot. The residential units on the first, second and third floors will range in size from 750 to 1200 S.F.
A green roof is planned for the building to manage storm water on site and to provide a pleasing roof-scape that will be seen by residents living in the proposed new buildings adjacent to Warehouse #2.
